THE 11TH HOUR
I really wanted to go into this film knowing nothing about it except that Leonardo DiCaprio was behind it. I did sneak a peak at the trailer and that only added to my excitement: similar to that of a giddy 16 year old girl. The film has a different layout and feel than that of Gore’s hit An Inconvenient Truth. The 11th Hour had more credible scientists from a variety of fields and different environmental angles enabling the message to be more convincing for environmental nay-sayers who were only in the theatre because they confused it with a film about time travel. Compelling evidence, exciting ideas for the future, and staggering statistics make this film an excellent experience for the human race. Not only do they tell us what is going wrong, but that we still have a chance to redeem our mistakes. Go see it and start the change!
